Need Unsigned Music for College Radio

I swear I've written this post before...

Hey Unsigned Artists / Anyone in a band not signed to a label:

Is getting your track played on college radio one of your New Year's Resolutions?

Do you want to hear your song on UCLA Radio next year?

If you answered "yes" to either of these questions - or know someone who would - all you need to do is follow these steps:

1. Send your best mp3 to djoctoon@gmail.com
2. Request it during the first 30 minutes of the show

That's it. When's the show? Where can you go online to listen to it?

All those questions will be answered in due time...

And by "due time" I mean after my name below.

Yes, this was voluntary. New slogan: Skip church, listen to UCLA Radio!

Shout Magic's New Album - Leaked!

Hey Kids,

Yeah, we're on Winter Break here at UCLA Radio, and that means I'm listening to a ton of unsigned bands to see who we're going to play next quarter/year/life.

Just got sent a link to Shout Magic's new album. They say it's a leak, but since they leaked it, I"m not sure if that counts. Anyway, it's good stuff - short songs, melodic, a little experimental, a little catchy. Listen to it for free on their website: ShoutMagic.com

And if you ARE an unsigned artist, or know any, have them send their BEST track to: djoctoon@gmail.com. Attach an mp3 to your email. That's the best way.

We take all genes of music, and pretty much all I'm doing over break is listening to unsigned bands. So send over your stuff already.
