Sporatic Summer

As some of you may have noticed, "I'm in a Band.." has not been on the air the past few Sundays, and missed a Sunday here, a Sunday there, etc.

Not to fret because we'll be back this Sunday, August 30th, at 8pm (PDT).

What's up with the sloppy schedule? All we can say is...it's summer. There's not much going on at UCLA, let alone UCLA Radio.

When school starts in full effect on September 24th, 2009, you can be sure that all your favorite UCLA Radio shows will also be back in full effect, including this one.

Meanwhile, if you have any questions or concerns, or just want to drop us a line, feel free to comment or shoot us an email at inaband@gmail.com.

How do you get played on UCLA Radio? (Or at least, this show on UCLA Radio?)

Two steps:

1. Send an mp3 to inaband@gmail.com

2. Request it during the show.

Super easy! Alright, two more requests.

3. Put the artist and song name in the body of the email so we can find it in a gmail search.

4. Listen to the show so that you don't request your song after we've played it.

Okay, that's really it.

I expect a ton of new unsigned music now. Bring it.
